Mikael Östblom acts as a Communication Strategist at Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development (GMV), jointly coordinated by Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg. He works with research communication and coordinates the communication from the centre.  Mikael leads the communication function and is part of the management team.
He also has an assignment at Universeum science center to strengthen collaboration with the academy and develop Universeum as an arena for research communication.
Mikael has attended several NUAS Communication conferences and presented seminars on communication for sustainable development. He is also member of the Nordic network for adult learning (NVL) and the subnetwork focusing on sustainable development.
