Reception on Wednesday
The reception on Wednesday evening is informal and the dress code is casual.
Food and drinks will be served at a standing buffet.
See below for transportation.
NUAS Forum 2019 Dinner
The dinner is formal and followed by live music and an open dance floor. Dress code: formal/nicely dressed
Weather
The weather forecast tells us that the temperature will vary between 9 – 14 degrees. Tromsø is above the Arctic Circle, so remember to bring a warm sweater and consider bringing sensible shoes and a jacket.
Luggage
If you leave directly from UiT to the airport on Friday, bring your luggage with you on the bus to campus on Friday morning. There will be storage facilities at UiT. The luggage storage will not be monitored so be sure to take your valuables with you.

Getting around Tromsø
The city of Tromsø is very centralized and visitors will find that most destinations are a short distance away.
Getting to the Hotel
The distance from Tromsø Airport to downtown is just under 6km. The airport bus (flybussen) offers quick service to the hotels The Edge, Scandic Ishavshotellet, and Radisson Blue. Taxi and municipal bus service are also an option (the 42 bus stops just down from the airport arrivals hall).
Those arriving by boat, will find the hotels (all of which are in the city center) a short walk away.

Thursday 15
Bus departs 08:15 from the center, Prostneset

Bus departs (to the hotels and airport) 14:00 from UiT, Hansine Hansens veg
The bus company is Boreal. The buses will be marked NUAS. More details will follow.
Morning Jog!
For those who are looking for a brisk start to the day, we offer a group jogging tour on Thursday and Friday. Meet up at the Clarion Hotel The Edge at 06:30 and join the jog where, in a little under an hour, you will get to experience the sights, sounds, smell, and feel of spectacular Tromsø!
