This presentation promotes and describes a transdisciplinary service design process whose goal was twofold: 1. to produce a retrofitted test bed for higher education teaching and learning, and 2. to produce and scale up a new process model for campus learning landscape design in various contexts at a research-intensive Finnish university.

The first outcome – a detail plan for retrofitting a teaching space – will be presented and described as well as the process model and design. The presentation also briefly discusses a best-practice checklist for scaling the results in different teams with transdisciplinary experts, including academic staff and students from different faculties.
